My dads old washing machine kept on blowing the electric fuses and we found that the faulty part was no longer in production, as I arrived home I found out our washing machine had broken too and this was established as beyond economical repair. As we added up the cost a friend phoned “Do you know anyone who wants a washing machine”? We also remembered another old machine we could get our hands on. The next few days involved lifting shifting and fitting but then one of the replacements failed so we had to buy a one new one. It could have been worse.
