The two Lancashire based businesses operate primarily on the web and have pledged to share secrets, tricks and tactics in order to improve their overall approach to marketing.
Neither company has any experience or interest in the other’s field but both believe that their online marketing knowledge is universally applicable and intend to prove it.
Topics of discussion are to include search engine marketing, social media, PR for online gains and Twitter specific marketing tactics.
Appliancesonline.co.uk specialises in large kitchen appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers and cookers. iKnow-UK have a diverse portfolio of interests including providing advertising for attractions in Hull and hotels in York.

Appliances Online was launched in 2000 and is part of DRL limited, the UK’s largest white label online kitchen appliance retailer. DRL was established in 2000 as an online white goods retailer and in 2009 acquired Expert Logistics; they now benefit from their own dedicated delivery fleet and employ over 420 people in their Bolton & Radcliffe based offices.
