House is old. Tile gone. Flooring and framing rotted. Time to remodel the bathroom.

@jrdnyoung It turns out to be only half the problem, maybe 1/4. LOL, watch on!
@ChildEmo96 You could do your own custom floor pan. They line the floor and 1 foot up the wall with rubber sheet. Then cement over it, adding a footing ledge at the front opening. After that you just do your tile, custom seat and all that. Make the shower any size and shape.. Why buy a fiberglss pan when you can raise the value for the same price almost?
thank god thats not the only bathroom in the house. we have a second bathroom which is in the basement. we are working on it we are going to get a shower stall for it.
@jrdnyoung I wasn’t joking because even if you have to throw the tub out. I was thinking they needed to take out small pieces at a time so I figured a large plastic/garbage bag will cut cleaning time. LOL Shoot..I will love to remodel my bathroom, but I need to learn how to paint first. Secondly, I buy different colors of bathroom rug sets so you know I get bored with the same color quick. LOL
@jrdnyoung I put plywood over it, but still took a chunk outa the tub.
@Greatersend haha no kidding right.. i recently remodelled my bathroom and used the bathtub as a dumpster… figuring it’s garbage anwyay.. but cleanup was painful still had to empty it to get it out.. gah… the room wasnt in this condition though the house was only built in 2004
they didn’t tell u about “that tile” that’s what you think the problem was.. omg.
@Greatersend Hind sight…
A large plastic bag in the tub before you scraped the tile would have been better along with a fast cleanup. I think…
@CurtShaw22 they were young and liked it.
Why would anyone have ever put that Looney Toons crap in the bathroom?
@dcraig2204 Yeah, they cant even keep that room clean!!!

@sixstrangtommy There should never be a next time. If I was gonna use cement board, I would have floated the wall with cement, thats the way to go.

@SoSmooveent Its all there! It took me awhile to post it all, something like a year! LOL, but its done and the kids are back to trashing it! Kidding…

@cheecheng I had too cause of the water damage and rot in the wall. Plus I wanted to block that wall for strength…
hey if you remodel the bathroom do you have to rip out all the sheet rock?
@Sapphirez213 Wow! Thanks!
Thank you, I’ve watched all your videos!! The best step by step ever on you tube
@IBREAKJAWS I never looked inside the walls when I bought it. AND the guys that worked on it poped a hole in a pipe and that started alot of damages. Its an old house.
