I’m attempting to fix a sloppy job that the previous owners left us. The area above the kitchen cabinets had been hastily covered up with thin plywood and painted white. We ripped down the wood panels when we were redoing the floor and are just now getting around to finishing that area. We’ve patched some holes in the plaster and still need to sand those spots. Then, after we’ve installed a new light over the sink, we’ll paint the upper part of the back wall and stomp the ceiling. For now, all of our kitchen appliances and miscellany that usually sit on the counters are in our living room with our dining room table.
