Apparently KitchenAid Superba ovens (#9754365) have their own flaky little bugs… just like iPhone 1.0′s flaky mic and touchscreen. Post oven-fire / oven-cleaning, the oven door locked (and won’t unlock!!!) and I started seeing the dreaded (though well documented!) "F5:E7" bug (the kitchen appliance equivalent of the blue screen of death?).

So I followed instructions I found online, cut the power to kitchen, waited a bit and now I’m stuck with the equally-dreaded (and also well documented, thank you internets!) "PF" bug.

I need two people to try the fix for this one – cut power while holding down certain buttons – so I’ll let you know how this one works out. (McD!)
