"Easy Chicken Cacciatore" from Pillsbury’s Slow Cooker Recipes (Pillsbury, 2003). Incredibly easy recipe & so delicious — definitely a repeater.
Ingredients: thawed skinned chicken drumsticks, low-sodium tomato sauce, dried mushrooms, onion, oregano, bell pepper, garlic.

Slow Cooker Roast Chicken Dinner

Roasted a chicken in my slow cooker (so easy!) and served it with rice pilaf and steamed green beans.
Gravy was made by thickening the chicken juices with a corn starch slurry.

1 4lb organic whole chicken, skinned, stuffed with garlic cloves & rubbed with Bell’s Seasoning. Cooked for 8 hours on LOW in my old slow cooker
Breast is a little flat, because I roasted the bird breast-side down to keep it from drying out.
