When somebody on Facebook this morning mentioned a Flickr group for pictures of refrigerator contents, I suddenly realized that this was a good time for me to participate since my refrigerator happens to be neater than usual. (In the door rack on the right, not shown in the picture, are things like mustard and mayonnaise and preserves and some bottles of Sprite leftover from an event.)

Refrigerator Poem Stonehenge on the beach at the Jersey Shore NJ

POEM HENGE

BELMAR: In celebration of the Autumnal Equinox, Belmar Arts Council will sponsor Poem Henge today and Sunday on the beach. Three dozen discarded refrigerator doors will be erected in the shape of Stonehenge, the ancient ruins in England. Local artists and art students will paint words onto magnets from poems created by members of the Blue Collective.

Photogamer 2008 Challenge #4: Refrigerator.

Technically, this was the sole thing in my freezer. To note, I’ve been gone for a week. Alli and I intentionally ran down our foodstuffs as she’s not here for most of December and January, and I was not here between Christmas Eve and New Year’s. Being able to shut off the fridge while away saves a lot of energy!

This is not for long, the PeaPod order is in and there will be lots of my fiancée’s frozen food ready to feast on when she gets home. And that Sorbet will probably be history soon too.
