Here are a few of my favorite gadgets and tools that I use a lot. I will update periodically, but if you have a question about anything that I use in my videos, please leave a comment below and I will be glad to add them to the next kitchen gadget and tool video. Odd measuring cups and measuring spoons — Bought at Walmart, but also available on Amazon.com. These are made by Progressive Mix ‘N Chop — Pampered Chef Magic Whisk — Available on Amazon.com or Nigella Living Kitchen Ice Cream Scoops — Available at any home store, such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Walmart, Target, most grocery stores Colander — Tupperware, but other similar ones can be found at Walmart, Target, some grocery stores and probably home stores, as well twitter.com www.facebook.com I purchased all of these items. I have not been paid to endorse any of them.

@DeadlikeaPixel – Thank you.
very nice video lynn!
@Earane100 – I will be glad to show it! It is from Nigella Lawon’s brand.
Hi Lynn, I’ve seen you using a special kind of knife to chop herbs for instance. I think it’s from Nigella Lawson’s brand. Could you show it in another video? It looks really safe and easy to use.
again and again with you’re lovoble recipes dont worry after many year went i 16 i just 9 years any in many year i will do it dont delate it
@Nanaslittleblessing – You are welcome.
@lynnsrecipes Oh ok. That is kind of odd. I thought maybe your stove was a special type of burner. I haven’t used our new one yet so I will have to see what it looks like with my camera.
Lynn thank you for sharing your gadgets, great video.
@TheCountryCook – Thanks. I would be happy to show you my stove. The burner’s look purple on camera, but they are really orange when they are hot. I am not sure why the camera picks it up that way, but I have seen other videos where they show up purple, too! We will try to do another gadget video really soon.
Love the measuring cups and spoons. I’m going to look for those the next time I’m at Walmart.
In the next video you do like this I would love to see your stove. That might sound strange but the burners look so much different from the stove at our new house. ( We are moving!!) Thanks for the video Lynn!!
Have a great weekend!!
xxoo

@kelliejelly2000 – You are welcome.
Thanks for the update on the gadgets. I always had wondered what kind of whisk that was and now I know.
@orangejuicey100 – Thank you. The counter was completely off this morning. I saw a lot of videos that had comments but no views. I think they have fixed the problem. I think you would enjoy the whisk. It is my favorite one.
@kareemtiheed – Thank you so much. I think these would make great gifts for someone just setting up their kitchen. Have fun at the wedding.
the view count must really be off it says 2 but you have more than 2 comments lol..anyway thanks for the great video, I’ve always wondered about those kind of wisks I might give it a try, thanks:)
You are glowing in this vid. You look beautiful. This is a great video for us, we are going to a wedding next month. We were stuck on what to give. These items will be great for the couple, they are VERY young and don’t have anything.
@Allen2045 – You are welcome. As a matter of fact, I made meatballs last night for dinner and used it to shape them. Should have mentioned that use for the scoop, too!
Hey Lynn Thanks for showing us the Gadgets and Tools. The small ice cream scoop would be good to make meat balls. If you want them all the same size. Can’t wait for part 2. ………….Paula
@iSaamuel – Thanks.
@eboni818 – Thank you. You can order Pampered Chef items online – you don’t have to wait for someone to have a home party.
Great video Lynn. Lol.. because I actually went to Wal-mart the other day with the hubby so we could find the tool you used to ground your hamburger up. Now I know it’s called a mix-n-chop and I can’t wait to get it. Thanks Lynn
@soonfully – Absolutely, I will include it in the next gadget video. Thanks for the suggestion.
I can see a gadget holder behind you wandered if you would add what you store your gadgets in that is always a problem for me. Thanks for the video
I can’t wait to see your other gadgets!
@bettyskitchen – Thanks, Betty!
The Argau Camping Toasters would be a great accessory
I missed where the bread goes lol
Christian, you are TOO cute! And you’re right about getting back what you ‘put out there’. I’ve found that if I literally claim my returns ‘ ‘for the good of all’ I will often get it back 10-fold. You are so upbeat. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
two things.
1 when you are making fruit bread add all the dried fruit in later; if you add it in first off it will get all smashed up and you wont be able to find the bits. i did a fair bit a baking with a bread machine when i stuck in the mountains.
2 do you all have freecycle in aus in short if i have an old bike, fire wood in the summer i dont want i will post it on freecycle and then who ever can swing by and get it.
love the vid
I’ve got a bread maker that I’ve had for 5 years now they’re great. I’ve got a jam cycle on mine and it makes a 12oz jar of jam it’s very yummy. Mine gets used every other day, sometimes more. If you need the jam recipe let me know and I’ll email it to you.
Claire
I use my breadmaker all the time – it is soooo easy. You will love it.
I am looking forward to videos with your new gadgets. If you find a good recipe for sprouted grain or seed bread, I would love to have the recipe and see a video on that. Thanks for giving us The Produce Garden!
We totally believe in what you put out into the world comes back to you and we also love getting those freebie items that you have a mental “wish list” on.
Thanks for putting out so much good help to everyone, hope it comes back to ya.
I once needed some cable ties and the next day i found a whole bunch lying on the street…
What’s that orange thing called again? Do you just put it into the sun and it gets hot enough?
-Thanks, cu
i smiles as i giggled, i like how excited u r
Nothing beats homemade bread. I’ve been making my own for a couple of years by hand, it’s fairly simple but you need to have the time to do it. That is one very festive looking canning pot!
you won’t have any trouble with your bread machine.
Try making cinnamon scrolls: sweet dough, take out of machine roll to rectangle; butter; coat with mix out of food processor of pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon; slice, turn each slice onto side, bake and coat with icing. Yum. can freeze unbaked ones.
Congrats! on your new toys. I’m excited for you. I have both things (except my pot is blue) and I love them both. I try to preserve as much of my food as possible that way I know what I’m eating not all those preservatives and chemicals. Enjoy and have fun.
seriously, i am excited! I should really get out more or find a girlfriend, lol!
Darn, I wanted you to open that lid just once more ;} I just got a breadmaker for Christmas myself. LOVE IT! I’ve made so many things with it. Just this week it was Tortillas, Naan and making cinnamin rolls right now.
There are a TON of recipes for them all over the internet. Seems that you just need to remember to load the ingredients in the order on the instructions that are for your machine (wet then dry, or dry then wet).
Cheers!
Hey great! we got a bread machine lately too! It is a wonderful thing, no more making pizza dough by hand on a saturday night! Did you get the instrucions with yours? If not it would be a good idea to scout around for the book for your machine, and don’t be afraid to experiment with bread/water/yeast ratios!
thanks mate!
AHHHH never thought of that
One tip on the bread machine – right after the “punch down” cycle, lift the dough ball out and remove the paddle. Otherwise, it leaves a substantial hole in the end of your loaf.
we do but they dont last long, im trying to instigate a program of sorts in my area, its just getting people involved!
Do you guys have anything like our freecycle? It’s a group that we post things we want or things we have to give that are useable, it keeps things out of the landfill.
Glad good luck is coming your way. I have a canner (pressure canner) but not the bread machine. Im anxious to see how it works. Ummm Banana Bread…LOL
Congrats on your goodies……the orange pot is a “canner”? We dont have them like that on this side of the pond….ours are blue speckled metal but I guess its the same idea ? Very happy for you ! Cheers !!!
