This is the seventh video of a series I like to call the “Mitsuwa Tour”. I’ll be showing you my favorite Japanese import supermarket in Orange County. In this video: Leaving the dishware store, we wander by more videos from the video rental store and then see the Japanese bookstore. The bookstore spans an entire corner of the marketplace, selling books all in Japanese. They also sell CDs, and I recall buying one there a long time ago, and they gave me a generous discount due to it being the last copy and a display one at that. Moving on, there’s the health store, and an expensive high-end candy stall. From time to time they will set up a sale tent in the front of the market selling various items. Next to that is the cosmetics counter. We then enter the supermarket half of Mitsuwa, you can see fruits, vegetables, and even kitchen appliances for sale, most that wouldn’t be found in an American supermarket. I really enjoy Japanese packaging, as they use fun images and bold fonts on their products. Mitsuwa Marketplace can be found in Costa Mesa, CA
