@CodyPaul82 if you mean the green it goes to the ground screw on the frame of the range or dryer.
in the case of the 4 wire cord it black to black white to white red to red and green to ground:)
the gray cords he used are illegal in Maine where i am from you cannot use them on new installs or as replacement cords.
only in houses with appliances made before 1994 was a code change thing.
Paul’s videos are good for general advice but always check you’re local area for codes in you’re area:)
@itscool1968 He also didn’t say where to connect that fourth wire. Which is why I watched this video to begin with.
nice video but you for got to tell them to match the wire colors for a 4 wire cord and same on a range.
also you didn’t tighten up the strain relief when you got done:)
i tighten my terminals to a set spec tork out of the makers book)
