How can I get rid of red spots on my kitchen floor?

i mopped up some water with a dry mop. I usually leave the mop outside. Afterwards i noticed red spots in certain areas on the kitchen floor how do i get rid of them?
ps. my mum is VERY HOUSEPROUD.
is it rust? if not try 1/4 cup bleach mixed in 3/4 cup of water you may have to leave it on a minute or 2 but the stains should be gone
