Sears parts direct should still carry everything you need to get it fixed. They have appliance parts on there for appliances from the 60′s and 70′s.
my uncle just gave me a whirlpool portable dishwasher. its from 1989 but was given to me free, he bought it used. when he bought a house it came with a built in. im thrilled, it might be old but works fantastic. some of the older stuff was built better. i hope parts are still available.
there better than top loading washers, thay wash better, cheaper to run etc
