Use these step-by-step instructions from Lowe’s Creative Ideas to assemble a kitchen cart for extra storage and workspace in your kitchen. Using pocket holes and screws, assemble the case. Add a back to one side and then add the divider. Add the second back, and finally, the second side. Now attach the bottom. Add the top, and then the work surface. Install the first shelf using pocket holes and screws. Now repeat for the remaining shelves. Now it is time to add the drawer guides to the inside of the case using screws. Install the back, with pocket holes and screws. Add the aluminum retainer strips. These are located above the shelves. Glue the castor blocks in position, and add the castors, using washers and leg screws. To make the drawer, screw the sides to the front and backs. Add the bottom, centering the drawer side to side and flush at the front. Secure with screws. Slip the drawer into the case. Attach the face with double faced tape, centering the face in the opening. Now slip the drawer out and secure the face with screws. Add the drawer pull and screws. Add the remaining drawers. It is time to paint the case and enjoy.
