Our kitchen cupboards with all but one of the doors on. Originally we thought we might put a wine rack in this spot, but they didn’t have any, so we got a cabinet frame to use as a space filler.

Now that it’s up, I think I want to keep the cupboard instead, which means I’ll need to go and get a door for it.

Photo notes: The sky outside the window was pretty white when I took this photo, burning out the entire window. To compensate, I used a CTO (warming) gel over the flash and turned the power up a couple of stops with the white balance set to Tungsten. I don’t think I quite turned the power up enough, the sky is still burning out, but at least it’s a little more blue.

Kitchen Wine Tree

I had a custom iron wine tree placed in this odd spot. Whatever went there couldn’t be more than two inches in depth, and it was a BIG hole to fill. Enter the wine!
