KITCHEN IDEAS-Painting Kitchen Walls and Cabinets?

We are planning on painting our kitchen walls and cabinets, but are stuck on color choices. We have blue pearl granite counter tops, stainless steel dishwasher, a light tile floor (I would say a light beige), black oven and stove top. I was thinking about doing a nice orange for the walls, but really don’t know how it would look or what color to use for the cabinets. Any color suggestions would be great!

Im not a big fan of orange but that just my style…i like some nice warm neutral colors ..like a Eco friendly paint color..earth colors! For the cabinets i wouldn’t suggest painting them.leave them with and just paint the border with a nice beige
so many kitchen magazines at the check out counter to browse through for ideas. Keep looking till you find something that strikes you. I don’t know if orange is an “in” color.
Why not just look over the internet at room decorating sites and see if something jumps out at you ;o) Cheaper than buying magazines or books, mind you there are a lot out there with great ideas.
Maybe rather than even painting your cupboards (you did not mention their colour), why not get some really nice hardware for them.
It is difficult to recommend a colour for you as everyone’s taste is different. I would like to give you a colour though. Why not try a very pale blue (almost a white). JMO
Good Luck!
lavender walls and spicy mustard yellow cabinets
sounds bad but try some swatches it will work.
