A few nice large kitchen appliance images I found:
milkshake machine

i hauled out my old milkshake maker in honour of berry season – i had frozen some of my wild strawberries from a few weeks ago and spent part of the last week picking wild blackberries. the local supermarket had decent blueberries at a good price, so with some vanilla ice cream, milk and maple syrup, the heat has been fought off in style. a minor event also prompted this – the hard work at the gym and on the bike put me under 180 lbs. for the first time in a long while, so a bit of indulgence was due. even my doctor said "ok, you’ve lost enough weight", words i never expected to hear from him, as he’s a thinness fanatic.
the machine – no date, so i’d only be guessing, but it’s not a reproduction. it was made by canadian armature works in montreal, a company that formed in 1934 and was then bought by canarm in 1969-1970, so there’s a 36 year window. unlike most similar machines, this one is a flat, matte black, a finish i quite like. it is heavy and works perfectly, and i have several of the metal cups (that may or may not have been sold with the unit originally).
