Another great gift this year is a 5.5 quart Crock Pot from Mom & Dad, in red of course. Here we have it chilling out on the counter in its spot next to the Kitchen Aid mixer, Christmas gift of ’04.
I have already made a tasty potato soup in this and am looking forward to using it a lot. So easy!
One thing I will never understand is why kitchen appliances have such short cords. I am sure there is some safety reason, but I don’t think you could wrap the Crock Pot’s cord around it. I swear it is maybe 3′ long. (Luckily I had a spare extension cord.)
