Note the 40-year old General Electric cooktop. Range hood blew in to your eyes instead of outside. Note the drawer — it has clear tape holding it together.

This is my cooktop and range hood mockup. I printed out a full size Electrolux induction cooktop and placed it on top of my current one. This gives me a feel for the location of the burners. The cardboard up top lets me test head clearance from my range hood. I’m trying to make it as large as reasonably possible.
