GE (General Electric) released a TV ad promoting wind energy: Capturing the wind and putting it to good use – Wind Energy from GE, the cleanest renewable energy on earth. The ad has been nominated for the most outstanding commercial in the Emmy Awards 2007. The General Electric Jar ad was developed at BBDO, New York by chief creative officer David Lubars and Bill Bruce, creative director/art director John Leu, creative director/copywriter Brad Roseberry, executive producer Regina Ebel, assistant producer Filomena Lovecchio, executive music producer Melissa Chester. Filming was directed by Traktor (Pontus & Patrik) via Partizan with director of photography Emmanuel Lubezki (Children of Men). Editor was Gavin Cutler of Mackenzie Cutler. FX was done at Mass Market. Music in the ad is ‘Catch the Wind’, performed by Donovan.

General Electric, the nation’s largest corporation, had a very good year in 2010.
The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States.
Its American tax bill? None. In fact, G.E. claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.
G.E. made 14 billon in 2010, and payed no income tax, great american company.
you probably would have to pay $10,000 for a washer if its made in USA. so consider youself lucky its made in China. lol. its the facts. dont hate.

I can’t say how happy I am to see so many negative comments on GE. After working for GE for several years i will never buy any Ge products again and I highly discourage anyone from doing business with them in any way. Dear GE, screw you

It is one of their most profitable business unit in their Energy Infrastructure business. Please dont post your facts/opinions until you know what youre talking about.

I’m french, so I only know Ge’s products for 3 things : getting an MRI exam, getting money at a “GE Bank” ATM (wich are pretty rare …), purifying a plasmid after a PCR reaction. The point is : in France, this brand isn’t exactly well-known
