should i be worried about a warm spot in my kitchen floor?

FYI – I live in a townhouse with a basement. From walking barefoot, I noticed a warm spot on my kitchen floor…the rest of the floor was cold/not warm, but right above this section was significantly warmer…what do you think that is?
