Delta Sand G70 Kitchen Countertop

I like color scheme of this kitchen with it’s mix of modernism using the
stainless steel with the charcoal granite-like countertops and then the
rustic, yet simple and elegant cabinets in a rich deep brown. I also like
the glass in the upper cabinets, and the vertical lines in the island.

I don’t like the backsplash and think it might look a lot better with stone
tile instead of hardwood floors.

Progress: Countertop after two coats of Waterlox

This is the birch "butcher block" countertop we got from IKEA for the kitchen. Right now it is at Audin’s house being treated with Waterlox so that it will be waterproof. This is after two coats of the base sealer. The next few coats will be a satin finish, so a bit less shiny.
