Twisted Cracked Gear

When the gear is twisted the crack lifts the gear’s contact points away from the contact points on the module stopping the motor. This would explain why the ice would make it halfway out of the maker then stop and slide back down. It would be awesome if I could just buy those parts but I need a whole new module, but I didn’t look for them either. Something else will break on the icemaker eventually so having spare parts lying around won’t hurt anything.
